Poetry Books

At the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin, we believe that the power of storytelling is unparalleled in its ability to connect us, to teach us, and to heal us. Our organization is dedicated to providing a platform for survivors of brain injury to share their experiences and perspectives through poetry and stories of all kinds. We believe that by amplifying these voices, we can raise awareness and inspire hope for those who are affected by brain injury.

Our books "I Don’t Think I Did This Right”, “Poetry is Chocolate” and “When Our Silence Speaks” are collections of poetry and stories written by survivors of brain injury. Each entry in the book is a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit, and a reminder that there is life beyond brain injury.

We are proud to attend events throughout the year to share these stories with our community. From conferences and workshops to support groups and fundraisers, we are committed to spreading awareness about brain injury and the importance of storytelling in the healing process.

If you or someone you love has been affected by brain injury, we invite you to explore our website and learn more about the resources and support we offer. You can also purchase a copy of "I Don’t Think I Did This Right", “Poetry is Chocolate” or “When Our Silence Speaks” on our website, or contact us to book a speaking engagement or poetry reading for your organization or event.

We believe that every voice deserves to be heard, and that poetry and stories can help us find the courage, strength, and hope to move forward after brain injury. Thank you for joining us on this journey, and for supporting the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin.
