Nominations are being accepted for the following award categories:
- Individual Achievement: To be awarded to an individual who has overcome major barriers in social, personal, or vocational areas as a result of a brain injury.
- Prevention Achievement: To be awarded to an individual or an organization that has contributed to the area of brain injury prevention through public awareness, legislation, or personal support or services.
- Legislation/Public Policy Achievement: To be awarded to an individual or organization that has effectively supported legislation promoting the prevention or treatment of brain injury, or increased the quality of life of survivors and their families.
- Clinical Services: To be awarded to a professional who has made a significant contribution to the field of brain injury through clinical services or research.
- Education & Community Service: To be awarded to an individual, organization or corporation that has demonstrated efforts to increase public awareness of brain injury and/or broaden community services available to individuals with brain injury.
- Corporate Advocacy for Continued Employment Achievement: To be awarded to a public or private corporation that has made significant strides in furthering the employment/vocational development of individuals who have sustained a brain injury.
- Individual Advocacy: To be awarded to an individual who promotes advocacy and education through community education, professional development and personal support.
