March is Brain Injury Awareness Month

Brain Injury Awareness activities at the Milwaukee Veterans Administration include lectures on the following:
Thursday, March 13 (12:30-1:30pm): "Battle Mind: Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Combat Stress" by Kenneth Lee, MD, National Surgeon, Spinal Cord Injury Unit, CJ Zablocki VAMC.

Friday, March 14 (12:00-1:00pm): "Resources and support for people with TBI and their families" will be presented by speakers from the Milwaukee Chapter of the Society of Neuroscience, a representative from the Brain Injury Association of WI, and the CJ Zablocki VAMC.

Brain Injury Awareness Day On Capitol Hill – March 12, 2008
To celebrate March as Brain Injury Awareness Month, the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force is hosting a "2008 Brain Injury Awareness Day," on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, on Capitol Hill.  Multiple events are planned, which are designed to educate Members of Congress and their staff about brain injury.
