Seeking Feedback From Providers

The Wisconsin Brain Injury Advisory Council and the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin would like to know the extent to which cognitive rehabilitation is being reimbursed by insurance policies. Our goal is for people with brain injuries to receive the best care possible, without unnecessary barriers to availability or cost.

We are seeking feedback from providers. If you provide rehabilitation to individuals with brain injury, please complete a brief survey.

(Please note that the survey may not be viewed again once it has been completed - one survey per IP address)

Tramatic Brain Injury fMRI Research Study

The UW Memory Research Program would like to invite you to participate in a TBI recovery research study.

This is a 12 month, observational study that involves 2 outpatient visits that consist of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and cognitive outcome tests at each visit. The fMRI is a series of scans that detect changes in blood flow in your brain while you are thinking (such as during a memory task).

The goal of this project is to gain greater understanding of cerebral reorganization and cognitive recovery (of executive and memory abilities) after closed head injury.

For more information please call the UW Memory Research Program at 1-800-636-7764 or download the brochure.
